Its a pretty good Steve King anthology actually, not as good as Creepshow 1 but better than 2

Saw it in the $5 bin at Walmart and regret not grabbing it.

For $6, it's a no-brainer. I actually prefer it to Creepshow, because anthology features should never be 2+ hours long.

I always liked it. A few small King related book & film cameos in it. Including the directors previous King film character.

Absolutely worth it, in my opinion. It has a very '80s feel to it, but that is one of the things I love about it. Tonally, it feels very much like a lighter version of the Tales From the Darkside television show, at times. And you'll never be able to hear the song "96 Tears" quite the same way again.

I think it’s a shame that this year Stephen King’s It, The Shining, and Salem’s Lot all received some pretty nice steelbooks and this film didn’t.

Any opinions on the releases worldwide: German, US, Australian, Italian? The Australian wins the extras for me since it has interviews over commentary, but not sure how the PQ compares.

Would say German for picture quality but only just.

Apparently there is a Steelbook with digital copy like with the new of Salem's Lot. At least that one had a image from the film instead of some new thing

Once again the Germans are first out of the gate with a premiere. Not sure if I want to import this, though. I may just wait out the eventual US release.
