What are your thoughts on the proprietary room correction? Do you use it, and if so, how does it compare to others you have used in the past? I'm still on the fence about upgrading... Would you say the TW sounds better than using a receiver with external amps?

Not even gonna lie, I haven’t even messed with the DRC, only SPL leveling. Also, I’m going from an old @ss Denon 3802 (circa 2002) as a front end (with the same three Marantz monoblocks I used with the Denon), but man, this thing has delivered the goods for the price. That being said, is it clunky? Yep. Does it take some time to get used to? Yep. But for the price (and if you have any sort of patience), I couldn’t be more pleased with this purchase.

Just posting in here to say how much I still love the TW and how it's still going strong despite everything I've said above as well as the very rare occasional hiccup.

True some of the cable runs are long. My issue was a ground loop that XLR seemed to remedy.
