How dare you besmirch the fantastic voiceover work on Xenoblade 2

Some of it really is pretty rough, particularly Rex and Malos, but I actually thought the rest of the main cast does at least solid with a couple of standouts in Jin and Pyra. Now the sound mixing is atrocious at times with the dialog so low compared to the music in cutscenes; result of its rush development I suppose.

I downloaded the demo but never gave it a try. I ordered it on Amazon around release weekend because why not. I knew I'd wanna get around to playing it eventually but wasn't expecting to drop everything else for it. Especially after I was initially turned off by the reports of the game having so much dialogue.

My only major complaint about the dub for Xenoblade 2 is Pyra. Her voice actress is so bad. It doesn't sound like she's putting in any effort and sounds so bored and plain. It's a shame because the character has such a nice design and you'd think they'd have went with someone who had a bit more energy in their voice. Maybe she gets better later in the game? Keep in mind I'm only 4 hours in but her voice is the first thing I noticed lol.
