Yeah, they need to correct that before it gets printed on the back cover. That would be embarrassing.

Fatal Flying Guillotines is great fun! Shame the only versions on home video are a 4:3 English dub, and a OAR but heavily cut German print.

never seen the german version. sadly that is the way that we are likely to see many kung fu films. decent material don't exist for many. i'd buy a uncut widescreen version in a second if it became available. on of my faves.

I never knew there were other guillotine movies. I'd only seen master of the flying guillotine. It holds a special place for me. It was the first non "mainstream" Kung Fu movie I saw when I was younger, it so much crazier than what I was used to and I loved it. We had a channel when I was a kid Star64 which was channel 64 and one night at like 1am one time they showed it and I loved it Years later I'd see the story of riki oh and I'd been searching for just crazy kung Fu movies ever since. |

Guess I'll just watch my dvd version. For some reason I'll never know back when bestbuy used to have a really good movie section I found a abc region DVD of it that didn't look like an American release for cheap and I still have it. Thanks. Probably the next time I watch it the next day someone will announce it's release. That's the way it seems to work when I hold off watching old DVDs in the hopes a new scan will come out when I finally break down and watch it soon after a new version is announced. |

The big issue with any future home video release is Neu cracking down on their music being used. Hopefully Tarantino (or me if I win the lottery) can sort this out one day!

Kung Fu Bob kicking ass as usual. I really wish he had been doing a lot more art for years. He's one of my favorite disc artists. Hope we continue to get more and more cover art from him in the years to come.

Reading this thread had me go looking for a list of these things. I didn't realize there were so many of them. When I was in high school, my friends and I used to occasionally buy crappy gray-market DVDs of kung fu movies out of the 1 dollar Wal Mart check-out aisle bin. We got The Flying Guillotine and utterly loved it, got Fatal Flying Guillotine (I don't remember that one), and then based on the strength of the first I also got the DVD of Master of the Flying Guillotine for full price and loved that one. Now I find out there were several more?!
https://www.imdb.com/list/ls003620154/ Looks like maybe this one, Zaitoichi vs Flying Guillotine, The Vengeful Beauty, and The Greatest Plot are the only ones that would be considered true "Flying Guillotine" movies? |

Juat skip Zatoichi vs Flying Guillotine. It's not an official Zatoichi film, and isn't even the same actor. I saw an old dollar bin DVD of it years ago and it was shit.
