As of today, Feb. 6, Boys is available on Blu-ray from Kino Lorber.

Any other fans of this underappreciated mid-'90s Winona Ryder-Lukas Haas romance?

Excited to receive my copy today and see it in HD! A *great* soundtrack, too.

Movie was a mess, and clearly was cut down for a PG-13. Seeing as they're not going to ever release the original cut, I've never had much interest in revisiting it.

There is a new audio commentary with writer-director Stacy Cochran on the Blu-ray. Hoping she will maybe talk about the original cut.

Although certainly imperfect, I've always had a soft spot for the film, and it takes me right back to 1996 when I see it. I also like the chemistry between Ryder and Haas.

I have the same soft spot but not enough of one to pay $20 for it.

Never seen it but always had a big crush on the 'crazy' actresses like W. Ryder and C. Ricci. May explain why I ended up with a bpd gal.

When you’re not likely to see it get any better on BD, and it’s on sale from Kino for $4.99, I personally don’t sweat it. But no, it doesn’t look great.
