This has happened twice now FYI. Gruv must have a whole inventory of Home blu-rays with House of Wax discs.

Yeah, Injust found that out.

At least if we do get a box set, maybe Scream can try snatching this up for an extra,

What a lame name... "Living with Chucky" That's the best they could come up with? We all know the name of any truly definitive Doc should be "Friends till the End".

I'll take a 6 hour doc on Chucky regardless of what the name is.😄

Too violent for Scream Factory by my estimate but in regards to getting access to said films...

Martyrs = Sony so maybe?
Inside = Lionsgate so no
Frontiers = Dimension and so possibly Paramount? Maybe?
High Tension = Lionsgate, so no again.

I consider Martyrs to be one of my top 5 films of all time. Powerful stuff that one is. I have owned the UK blu ray and the Canadian blu ray but would definitely buy a Scream Factory edition of this (and all the titles you mentioned).

There is a gray Market Spanish release of inside that looks solid, but it's in 1080i/25fps PAL format and so your tv/player may not be able to play it.

Thanks for this, I bought mine today directly from them. Noticed that third party sellers prices for it started to drop also.

Martyrs was previously distributed by The Weinstein Company, but it appears that license may have expired. It might be under the AMC+ umbrella, currently, based on the Amazon Prime listing. I don't think Sony has ever had any connection to it.

Frontier(s) was an After Dark Horrorfest title, so that should still be with Lionsgate. No connection to Dimension that I can recall.

Man I really flubbed those. There were a number of questionable Martyrs dvds floating around when the film came out and way back when as I purchased an edition that I came to realize is likely an unofficial pressed release which lead to my confusion. I tried to figure out why the film wasn't in the US on blu ray at the time and swore I saw sony attached to it but apparently that was wrong.

Frontiers I actually had just looked up a month or so ago and remembered that it was associated with the after dark stuff but mis attributed it to dimension.

As always thanks for the correction.

No worries. They all seem like they should have been Dimension Extreme titles.

Would love for SF to release The Mist in 4k. I'm surprised SF hasn't jumped on this one yet.

I threw my DVD (w/slipcover!) of Martyrs in the trash a few months back.

Just a thoroughly unpleasant movie with zero rewatchability.

I always thought this one would have developed a more cult following than it has.

Actually... now that I think about it, The Frank Darabont/Stephen King train has been chugging along nicely. I completely forgot that The Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile both received 4k's. The Mist should be up next or not far off from now.

You'd be surprised. Everything sells on eBay. The UK DVD goes for pretty cheap ($10), but the US DVD goes for like $22-$30.

FWIW, Martyrs starts with the Lionsgate logo on Shudder. But maybe they just have streaming rights?

Shudder is an AMC subsidiary, so if they're streaming it with a Lionsgate logo, then I'm guessing AMC licensed the streaming rights through Lionsgate. Perhaps the TWC license hasn't expired and the physical releases are simply OOP, for some reason.

IMO US labels are a bit anti Europe haha
Like Arrow, 88 Films and Indicator all were UK based labels but all of them now based on rights release movies in US/Canada also. But Scream Factory wont sell to UK market. Annoying
