I watched a Talking Pictures TV recording of The Bed Sitting Room last night and had a look today at the blu-ray price - looks very OOP too.

You're fortunate. I'm trying to find the last few to complete my set, and it's not looking good.

Which ones are you missing? If I happen to stumble upon I'll let you know.

Don’t know if anyone has posted it on here, but it looks like BFI are doing a 4K cinema release for Pickpocket in June (along with a couple other Bresson films that we’ve had through Curzon and Criteron), hopefully a disc planned soon after it.

Pickpocket 4K would be phenomenal.

Yes, came across it a few weeks ago, but it’s always good to remind people who might have missed it.

Don’t take this as conformation of a Blu-ray, but I suppose it could be possible.
They’re also releasing Get Carter on 27th May, All My Friends Hate Me on 10th June, and The Draughtsman’s Contract in Q4.

The Southbank are doing a full Bresson retrospective in June. I'd be surprised if the BFI release Pickpocket on disc seeing as Criterion have already released it in the States and have been re-releasing Bressons that have already had Blu releases here.

I don't mind who does it, but I'd like to upgrade my AE DVD of Pickpocket, so equally happy if either BFI or Criterion release it here. I suspect we'll get BFI announcements in the next 2-3 weeks as we're hearing rumours and such lately so we must be nearing announcements for Q3?

Such a bummer, right? It's been like that since July 2021 I think and nothing has changed since.
I want to order the Sight & Sound Presents The New Hollywood edition and can't find any other way other than through BFI .

Yes it is. Last year was really hard to get stuff. It's a luxery problem, I know. I've payed so much on custom fees to the point it's not funny anymore. Shipping also increased a lot with all the boutique labels. It's becoming more difficult to order and very expensive.
