Mine came from Shepherdsville, Kentucky in a box the size of a Harry Potter hardcover book with air bubbles.

That's my plan. I'm hoping that it starts moving though. Never had a movie from BB get stuck with Label Created, but won't be able to get more than a refund

That window open again on Saturday 4/9/22 around 1:10 pm. That's when I snag a copy real quick. Than less than 30 minutes it shut down fro pre-ordering.

It's odd that this copy doesn't have the 2 stickers on the front. Did you remove them or it just came like this?

That's odd. Mine came from Sheperdsville, KY as well but in a white bubble mailer. I guess some customers get special treatment over others. Luckily there was zero damage in my copy.

I don't believe it has anything to do with the customer. It has to do with whoever packs it and ships it from the warehouse. Not every copy is going to be shipped by the same employee.

So some guys use boxes while others use bubble mailers.

I was thinking that, but then they do have their Elite programs. And Elite Plus customers are their highest priority...

I seriously doubt that has anything to do with it. I don't have any of their higher statuses and have gotten single SBs shipped in cardboard boxes with and without padding, bubble mailers, and those sticky corrugated cardboard wraps.

It's most likely to do with what the person working the line chooses to use based on what's available or closest to them. If you read about Amazon packaging, they do the same, and I assume all big box retailers do as well. To them, it's all about speed of getting orders fulfilled (unless there's a hold up in Macon, GA ) and they're not going to scrutinize each order to see what type of packaging to use.

Definitely. I've never gotten a single Steelbook from them in a box with air pillows, not once. I thought it would be the exception with this one though. But who cares now, it came perfectly fine and that's what matters. The problem is with future purchases though.

Actually they're going down.

Day of release and for two days after they were in the $100 range. Now they're like $75-$80 plus shipping.

The same thing happened with Halloween Kills, and now it's settled at $90.

Just got my delayed order delivered early. It was packed in a cardboard box with ample cushioning. At first glance, it looks to be in great condition and doesn't even have a loose disc. The only thing bad is that the top corner of the plastic wrap is ripped open. Curiously, the shipping label shows the sender location as KY but all the tracking info shows is Macon, GA before reaching my city.

It's likely people returning extra copies they ordered for shipping.

It's even more likely those are damaged copies folks received in the mail and then proceeded to return at their local store.

Sometimes, BB puts those back up for sale at the store where they were returned, even if damaged, and they pop up for store pickup for customers nearby. However, for those far away, all they see is "Unavailable Nearby." That's likely what is happening here.
