Admittedly, I am a Playstation loyalist myself. But as such, I have surely benefitted from the competition that Xbox gives Sony. So, no hating here. I just don't have the time or money to invest in multiplatforms, let alone to sit and play every game that appears on them. I just saw PS3 as a good investment, particularly given the reliability and longevity of the previous PS consoles.

It sounds to me like Valve and Sucker Punch basically said the same thing, but Sucker Punch just said it with more class.

Almost, but I don't think you see Sucker Punch saying that the Xbox 360 should just be stopped.

Valve said they don't develop for PS3 because they hate it - Sucker Punch said the only develop for PS3 because they do love it.

Not only is it classier, but it's a much more positive attitude. (If someone who has never bashed the 360 before came out and said the stick with 360 because they enjoy it, I'd respect their decision - but that's not what Valve said.)

I think a big part of it also is bc they are financially supported by Sony.

There are people like me too, who are techies. I own a 360 but am still mad when a games "goes 360", because I firmly believe that the 360 holds all multi-platform games back in all ways except for online play, and I generally don't care about the advantages the 360 has in that area.

I wish Microsoft would use its money to generate new franchises instead of their current strategy. I don't hate on the Halos of the world because they do grow the market. But I roll my eyes everytime they brag about "stealing" a game by making it multi-platform. Growing the market is better than re-apportioning it.

Wow...I couldn't have said it better myself. Always felt this way about M$.

I mean they are good for the Washington economy, where I live, but I truely can't stand their non-chelant attitude..."You make a good product, but we can do it better". I am one that thinks competition is good, but stop stealing my console of choice exclusive games.

You sound like me. Going into this generation, I had made my mind up that for the first time since I've been gaming I was going to support one console this time around. I just don't have the time or the money to support all of them anymore.
