I entered another 50 last night. I did some disney ones and dr strange and rogue 1 gave me 4k, but guardians of the galaxy volume 2 and antman and the wasp were just hd. Not sure why. I think I followed the link on the mini cards on all 4. Next disney ones I will try redeemdigital movie first and then the link on the card on the next ones.

Still trying to figure out the 4ksheet. I seem to have gotten different results based on the fast and furious 1, 3, and 4 only giving SD versions. They were all early releases on bluray.

To get Disney/Marvel/Star Wars to redeem 4K, go to redeemdigitalmovie.com and select iTunes. That's the only way I've gotten them to upgrade.

I am also wondering where all the disney movies I redeemed over the years are. only a few have shown up in movies anywhere. I must have redeemed 30 or 40 codes there.

I know cars and the pirates movies are missing as well as all the disney classics. I sent a email to disney movie insiders about this. Hopefully they can help. But I cant even find them on their website.

If they were movie codes, they should be in your movies anywhere account and any connected accounts. If they were just DMI point codes, there was no movie included for those, just points.

Everything you buy and redeem will be in your transaction history on MA/Vudu and itunes.

Did you only redeem the points for it on Disneyrewards? If so you still need to redeem the movie on either MA or redeemdigitalmovie.com

I never had an iTunes account or a movies anywhere account until a week ago. I had redeemed stuff on Disney, Sony an I think wb in the past.

I don't know what that means by "redeemed on Disney", what site did you redeem the code through? Vudu,MA or redeemdigitalmovie.com?

Connect your itunes and Vudu to MA and everything eligible will port and you can see where titles were purchased/redeemed if you have any issues on a title.

This goes back about 10+years ago. Disney would have you redeem movies on Disney movies rewards. That site morphed into disney movie insiders. Movies anywhere says it’s imported the Disney movies anywhere on its manage providers page.

I think it’s a glitch on disneys site. Hopefully they will want to fix it. Disney movie insiders says the code has been redeemed, so it knows I redeemed it.

I don't know anything about that. I've only ever had a DMI account and redeem movies through MA or redeemdigitalmovie.com. Contact Disney support if you're having an issue with a title not showing up in your accounts.

Disney used to let you stream movies from disney rewards IIRC. Those movies are gone now.

If you redeemed a DMR code that had a DC with it, then it would have added it MA when you connected/linked DMI to MA. Also, redeeming the DMR on DMR site wouldn’t have burnt the code. So, it should still be good or at least say it was redeemed when trying to redeem on MA or redeemdigitalmovie com. DMI will only let you know the DMI/R pts have been redeemed, it won’t redeem the movie via DMI redemption.

Which movies (and edition) aren’t giving you a digital copy? Also, you mention not having an iTunes or MA till recently. Did you a Vudu account where you watch them? DMR site didn’t have the ability to play videos. Unless you’re talking about the keychest service they had before shutting that down.

Didn't the DMR site have the ability prior to Disney Movies Anywhere (DMA) launching?

Also, DMR did give a few digital movies from rewards redemptions. They were rare, but I got "The Lion King" sequels that way. Again, VERY rare, but it happened.

Not the actual rewards site. You did earn pts for digital movie purchases thru a separate site and had some digital movie rewards. There was a different site, I believe it was called Disney Keychest. However, I don’t recall those purchases transferring over to DMA when they shutdown that site.

DMA and MA were built from that keychest template, but that digital movie services didn’t roll into the DMA/MA.

Yes, DMR codes with DC attached to them did give the movies when retailers connected to DMA with DMR pt redemption. But just redeeming the DMR pts side of the code didn’t kill the DC side. So, it is like the current dual redeem today MA (or Vudu/iTunes) and GP redeem, just DMR and Vudu/iTunes redeems. Lion King trilogy and Cinderella gift set for while have all three films in each thru DMR redeem while the DC side was just the first film. Though it was eventually fixed. Tron gift set gave both Tron films thru DMR also.

So, I believe the highlighted section above has changed. I have multiple Disney films that I had redeemed in DMR, which then ported out to my DMA account. When Apple added Disney films in 4K, I attempted to try and redeem those titles again on redeemdigitalmovie.com, only to not be able to get a code for iTunes. I don't remember what the message said (I assume that I've used the code before already), but it didn't matter to me a lot as I had intentions on upgrading my discs to the 4K discs eventually as well.

Any movies that were originally in your Disney Movies Anywhere account that imported into Movies Anywhere would be listed in your Movies Anywhere Transaction History (>here<), tagged as "Disney Movie Rewards" or "Disney Movies Anywhere."

I redeemed them on disney anywhere from 5 to15 years ago. Most were about 10 years ago. But the oldest magic codes were for dvd. I would upgrade to bluray so some were bluray magic codes. I thought it was odd princess and the frog transferred, but none of the pirates or cars movies. Tron, up, and the 1st incredibles transferred, but None of the old Disney classics.

Disney contacted me and said the code should work on the 2 sites. I tried both sites for cars and it says not a valid code. On the disney insiders, it says the code has been redeemed.

The disney rep said, if they dont work on the two redeeming sites to contact them and they will help me further. At this point, I am going to gather all my disney titles and try to enter them and then if they dont work, I will contact disney for further help.

I keep my list of movies on bluray.com. Acorring to their sort, i have to find 174 discs.

Be sure the code came from a release that offered digital copies in it. Cars movies (only the gift set had DCs), Pirates of the Caribbean (on the chest set had DCs) movies and many DVD and BDs don’t offer DC in their releases. So, if most are from DVD codes, they may not have had a DC attached to them. Plus, some releases had two codes in the (one for DMR pts and other for DC.

The invalid message on ram com site tells me the code was just pts only.

I looked at your collection. Of all you Disney discs. These are the ones that came with a digital copy. Ordered by release date.

This first group. The codes were disc based. If you redeemed them when they came out. I think they were upgraded to HD. But I think the redeem sd now. I'm not sure



These are all HD or 4K codes that should still work fine. Maybe Oz has issues. I've heard. But not sure.
