Grab the German Blu of BATTLE FOR TERRA if you can find it. Excellent film with medium-to-strong 3D throughout.

sat down and watched Avengers: Infinity War tonight. the 3D is, as always for the Avengers series, very good. I should have watched this before Endgame though, I was confused a bit at first as I though this was after Endgame, not before. oops my bad.

anyway, highly recommend, it's a must.

I can see that causing some confusion

Infinity War was so nice, Endgame did it twice.

Watched The House of Magic on the weekend. That's how to do 3D!

Outstanding clarity and pop with things flying out towards the viewer on a regular basis and extraordinary depth both into and out of the screen without a hint of ghosting artefacts.

To my suprise it was also a very nice storyline with a great cast of characters that provided plenty of laughs and emotional power.

Animation was beautifully rendered with volumetrics and particle effects translating brilliantly in three dimensions. Animated characters looked great albeit somewhat stylized...I especially liked Edison. The lighting, colour and a visual clarity were all impressive with perhaps just the subtle nuances you get from a Disney, Pixar or DreamWorks title missing when it came to character animation expression.

Great effort from nWave and a must own 3D Blu-ray for any collection.

I ordered Treasure of the Four Crowns as part of the Kino March into April Sale in order to meet the free shipping threshold..... That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!

I think you meant to say you ordered Treasure of the Four Crowns, and then threw in a couple OTHER movies to meet the free shipping!

Just watched happy family 2.

I didn't think I was going to enjoy it as much as I did. Found it funnier than the first and it had first rate 3D animation. The box didn't give the region but I'm sure it's only region B. recommended

Epic

Medium

Pros
- Good depth
- Good layering, a tough task given the forest scenes, but they did a nice job
- Very nice bright CGI renders with lots of green/visually refreshing to the eyes
- Something about giants or tiny beings working well for 3D

Cons
- As a CGI movie, they could have pushed the 3D more in terms of everything - depth, pops and layering
- I also look for situational pop-outs but don't recall any of significance here here

Movie. A heartwarming father-daughter story with forest and tiny beings in a showdown of an epic (!) moment thrown around. Like Snowtime! and Cloudy WACOM, Epic is based on a children's book. Nice Beyonce song at the credits. I'd re-watch this soon

Rise Up - Beyonce

Just verified that Happy Family 2 is region free. Tested each region (A,B,C) separately and it played in each region.

Dracula

Medium to Strong

Pros
- Strong depth (love it!)
- Negative parallax
- Pop-outs
- Well-lit for a movie with lots of night and dark scenes
- Has 3D eye candies especially Miriam Giovanelli as Tania
- That bug before the first shot of Dracula's castle

Cons
- A few scenes I think are slightly not rendered properly with the 3D coming out a bit off

Movie. This being in 3D makes it my favorite Dracula movie of all. I also like that it is not scary at all with the ample use of light as well as the main character himself presented more as the distinguished Count than the vampire. It is very stylistically done that even the giant mantis seen in this context did not feel out of place. Others don't like it, I like it very much.

Watched RE final chapter. I know a lot of people disagree, but I found the 3D good and the story an acceptable ending. The soundtrack is awesome and I love the steelbook. Recommended.

Edit: I guess I should follow up with Monster Hunter!

I fail to understand why this film isn’t hailed far and wide as one of the best 3D movies ever made. It’s a film that really does have it all, including a bangin’ soundtrack featuring no less than The Cure and Madness! nWave’s finest hour, just barely edging out A TURTLE’S TALE.

I watched Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension for the first time. I marathoned the last four sequels and this is the only one in 3D.

There's a lot of shots that seem to be not in 3D, but the ones that are make up for it. It goes well with the visual effects and is very noticeable in all of the action/thrill scenes. It looked cool and interesting and although story wise I think it's one of the weaker sequels, I'd rewatch it for the 3D.

It’s your opinion, no one should be offended.

Edit: I feel the same way about romantic comedies, luckily none are in 3D, except for Julia X.
