If only I could upgrade everything I have on DVD to Blu-ray. Still makes me so sad that I own everything Star Trek on Blu-ray (pre all the new stuff) except Deep Space Nine and Voyager. Watched both Meatcleaver Massacre and Watchers II tonight. Both were first time watches. Meatcleaver Massacre was just as dull as folks had warned and in no way is it worth the $28 I paid for it. Not a bad movie really, just quite dull. I wouldn't consider it a horror movie either.

Watchers II on the other hand was lots of fun and just as enjoyable as folks claimed it would be and so I'd give that one a pretty high recommendation as it's a pretty mid tier Scream factory release that never should have been relegated to a LE model. It's better than plenty of other Scream Factory releases and so I'd encourage folks to grab that one before it's gone.

Someone earlier mentioned that the Monster from Watchers II was in another film. Anyone know what that other film was?

After recently watching both Watchers 2&3 for the first time via Youtube , its disappointing SF didn't make these a double feature. Woulda been PERFECT.

I went to 2nd & Charles today and I found 3 Scream Factory Blu-rays for only $5 each!

The Legacy (1978)
The Serpent and the Rainbow (1988)
The Devil Rides Out (1968)

The cases looked new except for The Legacy which I put in a newer case. And the stickers came off no problem.
And I got my husband Apollo 13 4K for $10 with slip.

I hope most of the big horror titles including the Psycho sequels, Friday the 13th, Child’s Play and Exorcist sequels will be re-released on UHD by Shout.

isnt Species with Mgm? if so does this mean theyll release more mgm collectors editons on 4k... i.e Sleepaway Camp 2 and 3, Dolls, Terror Train, Childs Play?
Guess we'll have to wait and see if From Beyond is what Barbara Crampton was talking about doing an interview for...

I bought Shout's release of "The Duellists" when it was new, and still have it. But since it went out of print, people are selling it for big bucks most of the time. I went to 2nd & Charles one day and found a blu ray of Shout's "The Duellists" for THREE DOLLARS!!!! I HAD to get it. Then, I promptly GAVE it away to someone looking for it. Take that gougers.

I just found some old, OOP books there, too.

Love that place.

I asked KINO if they would be releasing the Child's Play films in 4K, and they said this

Not sure if it will be a set. Universal apparently doesn’t license on going franchise including Child’s Play. Of course I would like to be wrong.
