Man to be honest picking between these movies is like picking a favorite between your kids. I love both of them.

Well played sir, well played.

I thought about that after I posted and hoped nobody would call me on his acting prowess...

Can anyone report on the quality of this disc? I'm buying it regardless, but I would love to know what I'll be getting myself into before I open it.

Ain't all that much of an upgrade from the DVD. It definitely looks better but it's still not crystal clear. But it's Cam'ron's Oscar winning performance on Blu-Ray so it's more than worth it.

It overall looks better than the DVD, but its not a huge upgrade. It was a low budget film that had a gritty, throwback look, and there wasn't gonna be a lot of money thrown into restoring it so it is what it is, adjust expectations. The biggest difference is with the lossless soundtrack, which sounds significantly better than the DVD. Definitely worth the 12 bucks I spent on it, one of my fave films.

Can anyone confirm the disc size (BD-25 or BD-50)? If so, please PM me.

I believe this has been hard to find for a while now. If anyone is still looking a seller on eBay has it for a very reasonable price:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Paid-in-Ful...053d%7Ciid%3A1

They also have it for $1 more on Amazon if you prefer that:

https://www.amazon.com/Paid-Full-Blu-ray-Wood-Harris/dp/B00DRCY9UA/ref=sr_1_2?crid=3UP37L98BINKO&dchild=1&keywords=pa id+in+full+blu+ray&qid=1605878131&sprefix=paid+in+ full+b%2Caps%2C186&sr=8-2

I can vouch for the seller as I ordered a copy a few days ago and received it yesterday in perfect condition.

If anybody hasn't seen "Paid in Full" the film is available on Netflix instant stream and can be found on youtube (Search: Paid in Full [2002] full movie).

If you are willing to support and help this amazing film reach Blu-ray please follow the link here to Miramax's online poll:

So I got excited that it got delivered today, only to open the package and find it's the old disc. Anywhere I can go to verify if it's a new encode available or not?

Anyone know if there's a difference, other than the price, between the February 23 and July 13 2021 release?

From what I have found, the July 13 release is a "Region 0" BD-R (MOD), while the Feb. 23 release apparently is a pressed Region A disc.

As I own a multi-region BD player, I'm not a fan of BD-R discs and the Feb. 23 release was cheaper, the choice was easy. To save a bit on S&H/Taxes/Import fees and what not, I also ordered the 2017 release of Hustle & Flow, I couldn't find much info on this one but hopefully it's not a BD-R.
