Someone in the Schizoid/X-Ray thread suggested it as a possibility and it hasn't left my brain since.

That was an epically casual drop of a big title on VS’s part.

Wow. Tough decision. Don't know if VS's will be as stacked special-features-wise and my slip is autographed by Caroline Williams.
....I guess I could always mail her the UHD and pay for a signature, too, though.
Then again I'd want to wait to see how VS's looks since Shout's is as perfect as it could get on bluray PLUS it includes the other color-timing anyway!

Um. Wow.

Not only is this coming from VS, but we're also getting a UHD? Holy shit.

I really hope this means VS also has Return of the Living Dead, another one of SF's OOP MGM titles. Would kill for a UHD of that movie. However, the trend does seem to be Cannon-produced MGM-owned titles, as they've recently put out UHDs of X-ray/Schizoid and Death Wish II and now TCM II, all originally Cannon productions. I wonder if this means VS also has Invaders From Mars? I hope so.

If VS somehow finds suitable elements that allow them to be edited back into the movie, this will be my favorite release of the year.

Sweet held off for the longest on the Scream Factory edition as I was never gonna pay almost 100 for it. Just checked ebay and there are 10 new listings in the past hour on it lol. Get bent resellers.

YES!!!! Since we're talking about John Carl Buechler productions, I also would gladly take a Cellar Dweller UHD. The movie is unbelievably dumb, but it's so goofy and enjoyable and the special effects are charming and just great. Plus, it has Jeffrey Combs and a post-Dynasty Pamela Bellwood. Besides, it has yet to receive a decent release from any label. I mean, a long time ago, SF released it as a barebones double feature that is long OOP.

Something something branching? The only footage that exists are those video scans/prints. All that can be done is cleaning those up digitally to whatever degree they can and even then it would need to be reconstructed since there's basically no audio. Tobe cut it of his own volition. It would be fun as a curio kinda thing but that's about it. It would just be neat in my opinion.

Lol 30 seconds after I post something you felt the need to correct something in the statement maybe lay off the bottle and the forums for a few.

Guessing this means no Dolby Vision? Has any VS UHD had anything but standard HDR?
