Waiting for my wife to come out of the examining room at the doctor's. At least this doctor has good taste in coffee, I don't know what he's brewing but daaaaamn is it good!
We'll probably grab some lunch before heading home to continue our current,never-ending project of decluttering our apartment.

Watching some Walking Dead on Netflix while I wait for the latest battery of training on Zoom for my new weekend job to start. Need to remember to ask for more information before I do my first ever solo shifts for them this weekend. My clients have a routine and I'd like to make sure I can do the best I can for them when I'm there.

I think I've played the 2022 Kentucky Derby at least 5 times. One of the most amazing comebacks I've seen. The longest shot hasn't won since it happened one time 109 years ago.

The overhead cam is even more amazing, you can see Rich Strike navigate through the pack and then start blazing past the others. On twitter, not embedded but highly recommended watching (toggle sound on to add the narration):

When I've been to Churchill Downs I would always lay money on the long-shot,
and I would of bet on Lucky Strike if I had gone.....

But like most other locals we watched it happen on TV

I think it was $1 bet = $1K+ payout..
I heard what the payout was, I just can't recall it at the moment

Im planning on going to the rec center sometime today to exercise before it starts raining whenever this week.

that and to go to the grocery store to get a half gallon of skim milk and a bottle of orange juice or Sunny D and a pack of already fried/cooked chicken

Sitting here suffering on public transit trying to get some music working. Both of my CD players are acting like shirt. On top of that the public transit here is slow, has us packed like sardines and the air isn't even on. I have to be somewhere and they could care less. Sometimes, I wonder why I get up.

It's storming out big time right now. Severe thunderstorm with wind, rain, lightning and possible hail until 5:40 pm central. Glad I didnt walk to the rec center earlier since it was 80 degrees hot with hot wind
