500 isn't the maximum... it's the minimum to validate the petition, more people can sign it not just 500.

What they can do is put passive 3D on all sets... if people want to use 3D is with them if not they don't need to... that way prices would drop and everyone could experience 3D if they wanted to... not making it the only reason to buy a tv would be good.
