Several more Miramax, along with one Paramount, re-releases as BD-Rs.

I think North Dallas Forty may be coming up soon as a Presents title or regular catalog. It is currently on HBO Max and has what appears to be a new transfer and it looks great.

Why are they incapable of getting the correct aspect ratio for The Yards? Every prior release has been wrong.

Because Miramax is only providing Paramount the disc master Echo Bridge already made. Don’t be surprised if you see the EB opener on it.

Funny Face should get the 4k UHD treatment from Warner but I guess that won't be happening anytime soon.

That would be more than welcome. "North Dallas Forty" is a fantastic film, and certainly one of the more honest, unsentimental sports movies out there.

The original 2014 BD came out during the brief period when Warners handled Paramount's catalog home video, so it had a Warner logo on the packaging, but Funny Face is a Paramount title.

Thanks for correcting me. I had no idea. In that case I guess the odds are pretty high that this could get a 4K one of these days. Perhaps even in the Presents series no?

I had a brief dream last night in which Paramount signs a deal with Studio Distribution Services to handles sales/distribution of their home entertainment products in North America, just like how Elevation Sales handles the sales/distribution of these products in the UK since 2020, after the deal with Universal expired. If this were to happen, I can imagine Paramount outsourcing these two duties to both Universal AND Warner Bros. in terms of this joint venture they have.

Why?

Paramount is doing a much better job themselves now and with the Shout/Scream partnership. When Paramount worked with Warner, the discs did not have unrated versions (unless already on Blu-ray) and original audio tracks. Releases were also few and far betweeen.

I have most of those already on BD. We can't get a MOD BD-R of Sabrina (1995) please Paramount?
