moved threads w/o redirects

And if they are your threads you're referring to.... a good start would be reading the description of the forum you're posting in, such as....

Blu-ray Movies - USA and Region A (482 Viewing)
Discuss Blu-ray movies, announcements, release dates, etc for USA and Region A.

If it's a "I hope XYZ comes out on Blu-ray" or "Is The Dark Knight a good movie" then it doesn't belong there........ (as an example) It would be "Wish List" for the prior, and "Movie/T.V. Discussion" for the latter.....

Either way, a link would clear up the confusion.

OK, finally you are getting it but here's the thing... sometimes there's a new subscription but sometimes there's no new subscription. So it sounds like they use different methods or there's a bug in the forum software.

give us a link to the thread. I'll post a test in it to see if you then get an email (in order to figure out if its a bug in the subscription, or if its a bug just in *showing* the subscription)

I don't know if the test will work since I have since updated my subscriptions so that might reset things but I gave you a link above ... so yeah post a test post and I'll see.

No these are not about my threads. These are about threads that I subscribe to but which vanish from my subscription list due to being moved to another VISIBLE forum. Sometimes when a thread is moved, my subscription remains but other times, my subscription just vanishes.

An example

This was posted in Blu-ray Region A and was there for a while and then was moved. I DO NOT CARE THAT IT WAS MOVED! What I care about is that when it was moved (a) there was no trace of it in the original forum; it just popped into existence in the Wishlist forum and (b) my subscription to it just vanished.

Another thing that happens is when I am subscribed to a thread that is merged into another thread, sometimes for some reason the subscription to the thread just vanishes (i.e. no automatic subscription to the merged thread)
