[Show spoiler]he was facing a force that had handled plenty of Loki variants who were armed with tech supplied by freakin' Kang the Conqueror. The stick not only slowed down time on the target but probably also applied extra force to the target (hence the "wavy face"). Kang is from the distant future and supplied tech to match. If Hawkeye's arrow could stun Loki, Kang tech could probably kill him if they intended to.

Now this guy does much better. He makes some fan-fiction-y assumptions, but everything is plausible.

I would say that those aren't "fan fiction-y assumptions", but actual things that happened in the show.

This is a squad that could have ended his entire existence and his entire timeline's existence if they wanted to.

I finally got around to watching this series...I found the rules of the Sacred timeline, Nexus events etc somewhat complicated...why do the Loki variants all look so different?...shouldn't they all have a shared history up to the point the timeline split?

why is there an alligator Loki, female Loki etc?

They are. I felt the same way.

I kind of just went with it and didn't ask many questions. That's how my brain works though.

I also like to watch the breakdown on YouTube after the episode. I always learn cool stuff.

Loki Star Owen Wilson Confirms Season 2 Begins Filming Soon

While answering the "Web's Most Searched Questions" for WIRED, Wilson came across the inquiry, "Is Owen Wilson coming back to Loki?" Not only did Wilson confirm the return of his character, Mobius, but he also said, "I think we're gonna start filming that pretty soon," before detailing how he enjoyed working on the series and with star Tom Hiddleston. As of right now, Loki Season 2 does not have a release date, but the revelation indicates that the series will be returning sooner, rather than later.

Next season, things aren't exactly looking brighter for Ravonna. Mbatha-Raw told Pop Culture:

"Oh, my God. You know I can't say anything about 'Loki.' The Marvel police will come along and just take me away. But no, I'm excited that it's happening, and I really love my character. I think she's unexpected and complex. And so, I'm excited to go to some deeper, darker places with her as well."

Deeper, darker places? Yikes! To get a sense of who Ravonna really is, here's what head writer Michael Waldron said about her to*Marvel.com:

"She has the making of a very complex villain that has her own set of principles and beliefs that drive her. She doesn't believe that what she's doing is evil. She believes that the mission is for greater good, and Renslayer probably wishes that she never learned that

I too finally got around to watching this series...absolutely loving all of it (two more eps to go). Hiddleston is brilliant which goes without saying, but I thought Owen Wilson is killing it as well.

Tom Hiddleston, Owen Wilson and Sophie Di Martino are all set to return for the second season of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Loki.

The news was reported by Jason Lynch, an editor at Adweek and former contributor to People and The Daily Beast, who was following and sharing updates on Disney's 2022 Upfronts presentation. According to Lynch, "'Loki is the most-watched Marvel series on Disney+,' says [Kevin] Feige and the show's new season will feature 'the whole cast returning.'"

Loki's second season is scheduled to begin shooting on June 6 at Pinewood Studios in London, United Kingdom. While the cast from the first season is returning, there have been some changes to the creative team, including the hiring of directors Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead who jointly directed two episodes of Moon Knight. Most notably, Waldron is stepping down as head writer and Eric Martin (Heels) is taking over.

There is currently no release date for Loki Season 2.

I hope not.

'Loki', along with 'WandaVision', are the only two series or films I've enjoyed from the MCU post-Endgame.

I finally got around to finishing 'Loki' last night. It had taken me so long to finish the series because of comic book fatigue, and just the overall uninspired nature of Marvel Studios in Phase 4.

But even still, this series turned out to be quite good. And oddly enough, for the most part, featured VFX and a visual style that actually looked both competently made and complete.

I'm looking forward to season 2. But if a change in the creative team results in a series feeling more 'fun' or lighthearted, that would be a bit disappointing.

Marvel Studios actually has something interesting to work with here in 'Loki'.

Agreed! When I look back on all the Marvel TV stuff this felt like it actually fit in. Kinda cool to see the floating space stuff in Doctor Strange 2 as well.

I'm holding out hope that they stay the course. Loki is my favorite D+ show.

They got everything right the first time so no need to tinker with it.
