Well well well are you glad this turned out the way you wanted it? It was such a suprise too....

Wonder how many accounts some of you rolled up with to get the outcome like you wanted...ha!

Star Trek 2009 better than first contact...whatever.

Whats going to be a real knee slapper is when you put Star Wrek 2009 above The Wrath Of Khan. Can't wiat for that one.............

Do you really think people are taking this poll that seriously that they'd make multiple accounts to vote? Seriously? I really think perhaps YOU are the only one taking this poll as anything more than a fun diversion.

However, you can see that the poll is public - how many of those votes were made by "new" members? If there are quite a few, you might be on to something, if not, how about we just keep things as "just for fun" (I know, a novel idea).

Either way, no one is wrong here - and no one is right - believe it or not, all these movies will still be around after the poll is done. . . or will they?!

Alright Elvis - I randomly clicked on people's names to see how many were brand new members - the lowest post counts that voted for First Contact was over a hundred posts (didn't check everyone's).

The person with the lowest post count (with a total of 15 posts to their name) was someone who voted for Star Trek 9 as the weakest film. . . obviously a conspiracy!!!

What is so incredible that Star Trek 2009 would end up this far? It's not a bad movie but in general the newest movie of a series if it's a very good movie will out class the older one quite easy. Memory is a rather short thing for humans and I am not that surprise to see it going head to head with Wrath Of Khan for the final round. You can't expect the older movies, some decades old done in a different style to be able to capture the audiences of today who never saw them in theaters and don't hold the same memories that they might for some of us. And like others said, the faith of the universe is not resting on this polls, the movies will still be there, just skip Star Trek 2009 if you don't like it, it's pretty simple, No reason to turn it into a personal attack.

Star Trek 2009 ruined my childhood! It renders me permanently unable to see or enjoy the original 10 films or the old TV shows ever again!

Yeah, while I don't buy into the conspiracy theory that Elvis is promoting - I do wonder how many people have seen the older Treks (all of them) - but I think it would be especially interesting to know how many people that vote between ST 2 and ST 9 in the next poll have seen both.

It would be nice for the sake of the poll if people don't vote if they haven't seen one or the other - however, in the end, doesn't really matter, it's just for fun (although, some folks don't seem to be having fun. )

That is probably true. I mean look at how everyone is just drooling over TDK now a days. Skip back a decade and all you could hear about is how Tim Burton was a genius and his Batman movies were the end all of everything Batman, how time change

I read the novel and I've seen that movie like 200 times, then again I was 9 when it came out. LOL, I doubt there'll ever be a ST film to top Wrath of Khan for me.

Haha....it was a joke. God you people are so gullible. Do you think anyone puts stock into what 75%+ of what you people think is a good film? Hell most of you have crap like the Hulk and those stupid X Men films in your collection.

Jeez...cant you take some prodding?

Those two sentences are at such odds with each other - I really don't know what to think of your comments. If that's sarcasm on your part, you need to work on it.

By the way, who is "you people"? Would that be "everyone who doesn't agree with you?"

Now I have to take issue with that since I consider the Notebook to be the best love story ever. Carry on with the disagreement with the enigmatic Elvis and the trashing ST 2009.
