Default Name That Anime....?

I know we have a question section but would like this to specialize on remembering anime you saw and just can't remember what it was called.

The first one(1980's to 1990's) takes place on Mars where humans are slaves to bigger aliens and the main character is a little boy. There is legend/myth the aliens fear about a girl with silver hair so they kill any they find with that hair color. Ring a bell?

I don't know if this is the same one but it does take place on Mars as well but the ending....
[Show spoiler] everyone on both sides dies in the end when the ship(as it's lifting up from the ground) they are on comes crashing down
. Anyone know?

Could what you're describing be E.Y.E.S. of Mars? It aired on the Sci-Fi Channel back in the day.

Yeah the ending to that one looks like the second one, but it is not the first one. Well at least I know they are different anime.

I am sure it was a OVA. The only thing I can remember is a scene where one of aliens is showing the scalps of silver haired girls they have killed. I don't remember what the aliens looked but I do remember they were bigger then humans.

I'm bumping this as I had my own two "What's that Anime" questions...

Background... both of these are probably from the mid to late 90s or earlier as I had them on FanSub VHS (anyone remember those??). I'm 90% sure both were OAVs but I'm not sure about that.

First I'm about 99.9% sure this was a standalone OAV but all I remember was that it featured ANA (I remember that specifically) airplanes turning into giant Fish and then flying over Japan

Second and I'm not sure if this was an OAV or movie but it was post apocalyptic type with very very little dialog but it was a girl who was traveling around barren landscapes with a giant egg and she was very protective of it. I probably missed some greater meaning as a kid but that's all I can remember.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. I no longer have the tapes so can't look at any label or anything for a hint.

2nd one definitely sounds like Angel’s Egg.

Silver hair... Maybe it's Green Legend Ran or A Wind Named Amnesia?

The first sounds a bit like Twilight Q: Mystery Article File 538 to me.

YES! Thank you! I just read a synopsis and I remember the first half of that OAV as well (and I was wrong about the airline as you can see) but thank you!!! I haven't seen that is years and it was bugging me.
