I'm sure we'll get some official news soon enough, though it's Lionsgate who are spearheading this 40th anniversary set. I think I've bought these damn movies more times than anything else since the DVD era. But it's fine, I'll do so again if it turns out to be what you hope it could be!

Oh, they know all about the sound. There'll be stuff to cater for purists and immersive speaker-fillers alike, and the second film in particular is gonna have a lovely surprise for y'all.

Didn't think to press on this being a worldwide release but I'm not gonna hound the person for any more deets. We'll know more nearer the time.

So a set and not individual releases. Going to personally suck for me as I have no care for any of the sequels.

Little bird rumored that they finally found the ORIGINAL 4.2 70MM and 2.0LtRt 35MM Dolby Stereo tracks for Rambo II. All I can say is FINALLY.

That would be the surprise for FBpt2, yes. But you'll be even more jazzed that they'll have Atmos remixes too.

That faux mono to 5.1 shiite of the previous Blu & 4K I won't listen to again.
