I'll be honest. Out of all the shows this was the one I was least interested in but I like the trailer. And I was going to watch this regardless.

Honestly the best star wars tv trailer since the Mando one we got at celebration 2019. Looks pretty good.

Star Wars is a perfect setting for an old school style paranoia spy thriller.

Very, very much looking forward to this. All it's missing now is a dash of Robert Redford. XD

Looks alright, but for a show called Andor, there sure isn't much of him in that trailer.

Wasn’t really that excited for this outside of seeing what they do with my hometown, but I’ve got to be honest, that looks pretty sick.

Nice! The trailer was very different to what I was expecting, and I tend to consider that a good thing. Looks to have a really different vibe to Mando.

This looks far better than the trailers for the Obi-Wan show, to be honest.

First Obi-Wan trailer didn't have a whole lot of Obi-Wan in it either lol.

Wow, what a trailer. This is what Kenobi trailers were lacking - big budget movie feel. Somehow, they managed it here. Looking forward.

Disney said “we have those Greig Fraser visuals, we have a Stellan Skarsgard villain. Throw in some throat singing as well, why not?”

Wasn’t overly impressed with that trailer. It just looked at bit bland tbh.

I just hope that Star Wars isn’t becoming a bit too diluted with all these many shows.

With the media campaign telling us this series will re contextualise some beloved characters seems like a safe bet Fiona Shaw will be playing Mani Bothans.

Hey Geoff, if you see this post let me know, because it kind of has to do with what we touched on in that Thor thread.

You know how we went over the MCU pumping out endless films and TV content, so maybe there wasn't enough VFX houses to go around? I did agree with that... partially.

However, after seeing how great all of these Disney+ STAR WARS series look in terms of their VFX and cinematography, I'm not sure I can agree to it at all.

'The Mandalorian' already looked great through two seasons -- and Chapter 5 of 'The Book of Bobba Fett' should win whatever TV series VFX awards that are out there -- and just based on this trailer for 'Andor' alone, you can tell it's going to look amazing.

Hell, I'd even argue that out of all the Star Wars Disney+ so far, this one looks the most cinematic in terms of all around visual quality.

I'm actually genuinely surprised, but also happy, with how great this series looks.

Do you think it's possible that the MCU effects suffer because everyone is so busy making the Star Wars stuff so good?
