Sitting here in the ER with my girlfriend, who came home throwing up and felt she needed an IV. Meanwhile I’ve been coughing up a lung for 3 days and feel like I wasn’t giving the same care and attention she’s expecting from me. Meanwhile my meds are wearing off and I’m coughing in my arm. Not to mention feeling like an insensitive partner at the moment

Thank you, old friend. They’ve run an EKG on her and talked about admitting here. Which I think is a good idea, since she’s not listening to me when I tell her to drink the water slowly and keeps throwing it back up. My meds are wearing off and I’ve not slept. So I could use a good night’s sleep.

Just bought a ticket at the Wolf Trap box office for the Belle and Sebastian show next month - now seated for "Top Gun: Maverick" (IMAX) at Tyson's

Almost bought REALLY cheap tickets to Sigur Ros at the historic venue in town on Saturday. However, I've got a family function to attend to. It's early and I could make the show probably, but I don't want to risk it. I've got a concert coming up anyways. So, it's good. Currently eating pizza from a gas station and perusing "special interest" news.

Man, You are so lucky. I cannot have dinner with my parents anymore. My dad had cancer near his tongue and lost the ability to eat solid foods. And my mom is dead so that rules that out.



I drink that too. Though I don't drink any of their more crazy flavors. Regular, Code Red, and Livewire are my favorites. Though if Vault or Surge were still around I would be drinking those instead.

Yeah, I am lucky that I still have both parents around and that I get along great with them and my brother. We all do things together quite often.

I only drink Diet Mountain Dew because the regular is way too sweet for me.

Apologies upfront for airing my business on the public line, but I’m at wits end. I’m lying here in bed, scrolling through the forum and wondering who I can count on if I need a place to stay? Because I think I’ve had all I can stand with my relationship. Long story shortish, my girlfriend and I had an argument earlier. She then took off for an hour, then came home and gave me the silent treatment. Then she stormed off to the couch when my TikTok was too loud for her to sleep. Mind you, she was listening to TikTok when I was wrapping up an episode of Clone Wars and I didn’t say anything or move to the living room. Which is probably what she was expecting. The shit part is I’m supposed to start training for a new job on Tuesday and lacking in funds to find a new place if we’re over.
