Well it's also because Sony produces it, while Stranger Things is produced for Netflix by smaller studios not associated with a specific studio. That's why Sony can release The Boys or The Crown, but Netflix doesn't want to release Stranger Things itself. Had it been from a big studio's in house production studio then it would've been released by them.

It was never a YouTube Red production, nor is it a Netflix production now. Sony produces it.

Well, it's looking like Bill Hunt was wrong. I'll be enjoying watching Season 4 on Saturday, but have held off rewatching Season 3 in case it got a physical release.

Vol 1 is out, the last two episodes are out on July 1st... so I'm waiting until sometime that week to start watching it lol

It's possible they are waiting until the 2nd half of the season in July to release the Target exclusive Blu. With the huge price drops on them I cant imagine that they sold all that well

Maybe, but at this point, I'd be willing to guess that Season 3 isn't in the cards anytime soon.

It sucks, since I'd prefer to own a copy, but it is what it is.

After the end of Part 1 (Season 4), I realized It would be very cool to complete the series in 4K here on the shelf.

Both seasons were released on 4k in nov at target. I am guessing its possible thats when s3 will get a release.
