Started packing my backpack for my vacation next week, and I had to switch to a bigger bag. Sigh, I think I'm going to repack it before I hit the road Sunday, I'll have access to a washer & dryer so there's no reason to pack 10 pairs of clothing for 10 days especially since I'll likely live in shorts and t-shirts the entire time anyway.lol

I just got back from the cemetery. I went out with my dad to put flowers on my grandparents graves and I forgot to take a hat and it felt like my bald head was blistering from the heat.

Debating on picking up a cheap tablet from Walmart before I leave for vacation, I'm not taking my laptop on this trip to avoid temptation of work and I'm debating whether a tablet with a few Netflix movies/shows pre-downloaded would be easier than taking DVDs and my portable DVD player. I usually take some TV series I've already seen before, to listen to while I drive, but switching discs while driving is probably more dangerous than using your phone. Music gets boring after the first 6hrs or so.

I was looking for my mask and said, “I better find it and get it on before someone sees and I get into trouble.”

Got some digits yesterday but not from someone I would normally want them from. I was at Ross browsing and this guy who works there starts talking to me and he seemed kind of friendly. And then it was getting a bit more obvious he was into me but I still didn't know for sure. Then he asks if I'm single and I said "yes" when I should have said, "yeah no girlfriend right now." So he ends up hitting me up and I'm so weak (kind of) and afraid of offending that I took his number and added him as a contact. I haven't texted him yet but when I do, I'll tell him it was nice to meet him and will mention that I'm straight. I was thinking that I should tell him right then and there but I didn't

And then there's this girl who works at my apartment complex. I've seen her before and her hair is normally curly and she's cute. Definitely catches my attention. Well yesterday she had her hair straight (really straightened out) and damn she looked good

but this happened today and its on my mind.

ok so 2 years ago, i see this yard sale posted on fb. right off the bat, i spot spawn 2, some silver age and several others, of course spawn 2 not really an expensive book if u know where to look. u can get it for like 1 dollar at peddlars mall. so i send my dad to go get the comics. they agree on the price. after my dad buys them for $115. he starts picking out certain books. like spawn all the silver age, stuff he calls keys . like omega red. still can find for 1 dollar. just starts picking books out saying, im going to keep these. after my dad bought them. and paid for them. so he says theres 150 books there. when i count them theres only about 110. and half the stuff was titles like fodder. tons of fantastic four. it was all 80s and 90s and 2000s. no spwn no silver age etc. that was in the picture. he picked it all out. well today i went to his yard sale. had a pile. with all the books, he picked out that my dad bought. i picked out 16 books maybe 4 silver age. and the rest were 90s and 2000s. he looks thru them, and says 175 bucks. now im not sure what the sub manier was it was a 1 cent comic gray background. but i know for a fact the rest of the books i had. i could find in the dollar box at the comic book store, bc my store has hundreds of dollar boxes. and even silver age is thrown in there too if its archie, casper etc. other than the silver age nothing special. the omega red and spawn 2. and just dollar books. i said i cant do that. and i buy them at the comic book store for a dollar. he looked thru them again. and again he took out the spawn, omega red, all the silver age says im keeping that. the same ones my dad bought 2 years ago. hands me 12 books and says he would take 25 bucks. but guess what 1 15 cent comic. and rest were 90s and 2000s. 2 bronze age comics. which really wasnt worth anything , just captain america. and i forgot the other one. im not paying more than a dollar for those comics. i just laid them down and walked off. but hes taking pics of these books to get people to stop then not sell them. or in my case. after i pay for the box. he picks them out after he gets the money. all the books he said he was keeping today like omega red, spawn 2, silver age, the spawn with angela. and half the ones i didnt pick up my dad bought. and there they were laying on his table. after he picked them back out of the box 2 years ago.

Apparently I found out both of my legs can't handle sitting on bleachers 45 mins outside football team long hs graduation oldest niece past Friday night
I went saw top gun maverick imax yesterday 12:15 I was fine then sitting in middle besides 2 folks recliner chairs my right leg started to cramped good thing going home today
Despite have to go family hs graduation party 5 ain't going nowhere mon rest my left leg hurts more
This is my fault couldn't use Free pass instead I let my brother go to app pick the seats were getting full
I wanted get seats at top but he didn't want to do that if did could if lift feet up in recliner now paying the price

I have been watching some and in fact I'm watching right now on my break. Which players were you watching yesterday morning? If you ever come down to the Bay Area in early August, we'll have to go the womens tournament here at San Jose State. Or heck we could just go up to Stanford and watch them practice

I don’t recall their names but one was Italian and they kept cutting to her Dad who had crazy hair. His hair was distracting. I didn’t want to see him, just watch tennis.


I am messaging with my wife and we’re both talking me out of doing overtime.
I like the cash, but I like time at home with her better, haha.
I should listen to us.

I'm currently working (usually) 7 days a week. 40 hours a week at my normal job and 12 hours a week on the weekend as a direct support personnel. I do miss my free time on the weekends and being able to run before it gets hot. I know it'll pay off at some point with a full-time behavioral health job. If not, at least it's an extra $800 a month take home and that's nothing to sneeze at.

I received an unsolicited call on my cell from someone who claims to be from State Farm insurance shortly after I got done browsing comparison sites for quotes. While they gave me a quote I think is too good to be true, the email I also received seems legit (I also got a text after getting the call). Is there a way I can find out if this is legit or a scam? ID theft is rampant so I can't be too careful.

State licensing boards for insurance often have the agent's name, company name, address, email, and work phone number on them.

Call State Farm's main number. Tell them you received a solicitation from an agent. Tell them you have his name and address and whatever other identifying info you might have from the email and ask if they can give you his direct number.
