I'll say the same thing to you as I say to everyone else that *****es and whines on the internet - if you don't like it, do the hard work to master the craft, and then convince Paramount to let YOU do it.

You can still offer criticism/critique for something you’ve purchased. Just because you have some complaints or criticisms of something doesn’t mean you have to swear off buying it. It’s not an “all or nothing,” black and white thing. Even though people on the internet love to portray everything as extremes.

I just watched the latest episode of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, and it's amazing how impressive the effects look in that (and other recent) Star Trek streaming series. Clearly a ton of money goes into the production of these new Star Trek shows. Yet they can't make sure a small handful of new shots look good in the original film? This is not a fan project. It's supposed to be an official release by a major studio. And they actually released it to theatres like this which is even more embarrassing.

I actually think they shouldn't reveal the ship, it was never needed in the Theatrical and to me it loses its grandeur or intrigue by actually showing it at the end.
The cgi doesn't help but the scale always felt wrong even on the 2001 version.

Wow! that's interesting...neither this site nor any other site that i can find are even showing these pre-orders yet. If this is legit than that's cool! Although i did not expect ST 5 and 6 4K to be released individually. Maybe Paramount realized maybe the demand for 5 will not be as high as for Undiscovered Country.

^Then that actually would have been a reason to combine them -- to force people to pay a higher price for a set.
Example, I would have bought 2, 3 and 4 separate because I knew the DE was coming, but I had to buy the box because I wanted the others as early as possible.

Could be a mistake, in that with the previous box set there were individual release that were 1080 BD only, so these could be those.

Yes, good point. Well hey here for the U.S. release we still might get a box set...i think alot of people were thinking they would release 5, 6 and Generations in a 4K box set...so We'll see. I am sure something officially will be announced soon. Or indeed maybe these listings are a mistake by that Website.

You were rightfully banned from the ST Appreciate page earlier this month. You were downright rude and obnoxious to people including those who worked on the film's restoration. the group rules clearly state, that the page is for celebrating the franchise, not going in and bashing a production, or a release. maybe next time dont go in with a bad attitude, and break a groups rules.

Perhaps they are each the 4K blu-ray with the 1080P Blu-ray included as well?

Checking back Viking61, posted the first solid info on June 9, 2021 about the (then) upcoming box set that was released on Sept 7, 2021.
So if they are planning for 5 and 6 to come out starting in Sept -- then semi-official news should be imminent.

And what's with releasing the 3 new movies 1-a-week for 3 weeks? Is that something they do in Europe?

First hints of last years 1-4 set originated from a European retailer so I would say this is extremely likely to be accurate along with the reports of 5 and 6 getting individual releases.

Maybe the TNG movies will be 2023 to tie marketing to the TNG cast reunion planned for PICARD's last season.

Or they could just not do them at all. Just throwing in any and all possibilities.
