IMO Lafayette Reynolds in the dungeon is most definitely there to answer to the crimes of using the "newly" turned vampire Eddie that was killed last season by Jason and Amy. I bet they suspect him being invloved because of his sex for blood relationship with Eddie.

I think Nelson Ellis (*sp) did such a great job with Lafayette that they kept him on for ratings.

Had things been different, he may have been more in line with the book's fate for him.

At this point, it is all about (as they say in show business) "putting a$$e$ in the seats"

I for one am very happy with the way things are going so far and Ellis is one of the people whose career I'd like to see thrive in the future.

Depends on which side of the movement he ends up on.

Is Eric for or against mainstreaming? I can't fully tell. I know he feeds on humans but they could be from Fangtasia.

Since he's always talking down at Bill for mainstreaming i would assume he's more of a "traditional" vampire.

Lost has ruined me when it comes to show, I think everything is a conspiracy now like when Sam was coming out of the bar and threw the trash into his truck at the beginning or when the bottle of true blood rolled into the wrong recycle bin. I'm like hmmmm what could that mean

Yeah, to me the whole show has to be leading up to some mini-Vampire war. Jason on one side and Eric and maybe even higher up Vampires on the other, with people like Sookie and Bill caught in the middle. I could always ask my wife what happens, but that would be no fun and she'd probably just complain that the show is changing the books around too much, so even she can't predict where it's going.

Why not? If people are ordering it already...

1st episode is the first half or third of the long intro for the new season. We're going to see plot lines and character development and then BAMB - the crazy $hit we love to see.

Weird, that one did not come up. However, thank you for the link. I pre-ordered too. At least everyone that orders can show they really want more. Hopefully the price will come down some.

That's the truth! I think we all have been spoiled with technology. Video on demand any time, any day, dvd's, blu-ray's, hulu, the internet.

Seriously. It's sad I was thinking about how many different ways I had to watch a movie whenever I want the other day. PS3 through the store, Amazon and netflix through my roku, ppv and on demand. Just right there whenever you want. I feel spoiled.
