Remember that mysterious Jennifer Tilly interview? Well, turns out it was for a 4 part docu series called Queer for Fear. It will debut exclusively for Shudder this fall. Mystery officially solved.
I still think we will end up getting the remaining Chucky sequels sooner than later.

I hope so. I will definitely get the rest of the series as well.

I hope SF is aware of the demand for the Jaws sequels. I really want a special edition for 3 and 4 loaded with extra features.

I think that's a good possibility. I'm actually hoping for a box set with all of the sequels. But I don't think they will be released in 4K. Still, not sure if they have license for these.

I'm with ya! Collector's Editions of the Jaws sequels are long overdue. I hope Shout can license them, especially for 4K UHD with Bonus Features loaded to the gills!

Many creative folks (crew and actors) associated with these films aren't getting any younger. Joe Alves is in his mid 80's. I'd love for him to get a chance to restore the cut footage (if it still exists) for a Director's Cut of 3D. Supposedly 20 mins were left on the cutting room floor.

And Lorraine Gary is in her mid 80's. Haven't seen much of her since she retired in 1987 aside from a few interviews in the 90's for the original Jaws. Would love to get an interview with her on the making of Jaws 2 and The Revenge.

Mitchell Anderson was interviewed for the current issue of Scream magazine and he was discussing how they filmed his death scene, working with Lorraine Gary (he said she is a very "lovely person") and how the script was to have him in The Bahamas as well, since Chief Brody was originally supposed to be killed in the opening scene.

I read in some other publication the only way Scheider would agree to appear was by demanding 1 million for a few day's work, which Universal refused.

Since Shout started releasing some Universal shows to BD, it would be sweet if they could release the Tremors TV series.

I suppose there's not really enough reason to redo the DTV Tremors sequels, even though the existing Blus for the first few could use some improvement.

I remember all the speculation that VS or possibly Kino may have a 4K coming. Maybe this puts those rumors to bed.

Tremors 2 really needs a remaster. I can live with the other discs.

I'd be very down for at least collectors editions for Tremors 2 and 3. I've probably watched 3 the most out of all the movies.

Now that Child's Play 2 and 3 are being released with the royal treatment, I'm not sure what to do with the 3 films that follow that are in the Universal Blu-ray set I own. I'm not a big fan of this series in general but I consider the first three films the only films that matter in this series. I don't really want to get rid of the set. Even if I did, I probably won't get much for it so I may as well keep it. The discs will go in a binder.

If the first three movies are the only ones you prefer, and sell the entire boxset, since you don't want the rest of the sequels anyway. Sell it on ebay. Somebody will buy it! Whatever you sell the boxset for, put the money towards the three Child's Play 4K movies. Something is better than nothing. If you don't want to sell it, give it to a friend or a family member, I'm quite they will appreciate it.

For folks that don't frequent the 4k Forums as often and/or haven't checked the Child's Play 4k thread... it appears that a Best Buy Exclusive Steelbook release of Child's Play (UHD/BD) is planned for August 16th as well.

Makes that theory that they used commissioned art because they wanted Chucky's face for sales moot, since the Steelbook is probably the only edition that will actually be on shelves.

I already pre-ordered the standard through the bundle, but I do wish there was a way to trade up for the Steelbook. Outside of having to buy both.

Lame. I'm now starting to think they saved the original art for the steelbook when they should be using it for both.

Really annoying that the original artwork is on the Steelbook and not the matching “Collector’s Editions”

It is odd since Scream has been putting the OG art on the slipcovers at least for their new 4K releases... That Child's Play art would've looked great on the slip, too

I'm tempted to pick up the upcoming 5-film Final Destination collection just so I can create some shelf space but something tells me a new collection might be coming. Sometimes a cheap studio reissue means someone else is re-releasing a new collection shortly after and I'm thinking that someone is Shout Factory. I'd definitely love a Collector's set of the FD films. They're so much fun!

You just better keep your fingers crossed that the UHD transfers aren't screwed up like They Live and Prince of Darkness.
