Hadn't enjoyed as much the past two or three new editions of The Footage Detectives, but I certainly did with yesterday afternoon's new edition (plenty of Mike and Noel's comedy routines/conversations) The jubilee celebrations didn't overwhelm this new edition (I enjoyed the Platinum Jubilee concert this past Saturday night, as well as what I saw of the parade yesterday afternoon). They were the theme of some of the segments/features (I forgot to record the interview programme about the Queen's horses from the mid-eighties).
As for what was (in production order) the last episode of the first series of The Saint (cutback, is it correct that the first produced series/season of The Saint was broken up into two blocks? I read on Talking Pictures TV's Facebook page recently that the various ITV regions showed different episodes, not in the same order as stated on EpGuides for example), "The Man Who Was Lucky" was one of my favourite episodes so far, in what has been an uneven series so far (the episode got better as it went on (including a clever plan against the main villain), ending in a very satisfying way). |
