The Munsters.
If The Munsters ends up any where remotely as weirdly enjoyable as the other 90's tv franchise movies (Addams Family, Brady Bunch, etc) then it will likely be the most well received film Zombie will have released.

I'm very curious to see how The Munsters turns out. We're in a different era of filmmaking but a fun film is a fun film and so I have hopes Zombie can capture some of that 90's zanyness.

I posted this in the Halloween: Curse of Michael Myers thread and thought it was worth sharing here too.

Quote:
I submitted a 4K UHD (with no studio) into the database as a place holder, but a member has uploaded artwork (albeit, fairly low quality artwork) and attributed a release date and Shout as the studio. No official word though and no word on the other two Miramax Halloween films.

I would start a UHD thread, but I figure it's best left discussed here until we actually know something. Or at least until someone else makes a wishlist thread.

Rumored date, October 4, 2022.

The artwork noticeably doesn't match the previous Halloween UHDs from Scream Factory and is missing the CE banner. Looks to be the work of you know who.

Thanks for the info. I figured it was nothing more than someone cooking up something in photoshop.

Disappointed the deleted scenes aren’t listed. Hopefully they are actually included but Amazon did get them in the listing

That's a lot to say and although I'm not quite share that throughout, I do understand how you feel because I'm one of the biggest fan of Season of the Witch --- especially when it comes to its soundtrack!

Edit. Typo

I know it's a controversial opinion, but I've never been a big fan of the first one. Always thought it was a bit flat and boring (apart from the last 20 or so minutes which are great). I've always found Michael quite an uninteresting character, making Halloween my least favourite slasher franchise.

I went into 3 hearing how bad it was, years ago. I set my expectations to expect a piece of shit, but I was pleasantly surprised. Soundtrack rocks, Tom Atkins is Tom Atkins, it's quite imaginative and fun. The film isn't flawless, quite far from it. But if I had to choose which one to keep and the others disappeared, it's Halloween 3.

The release date and artwork are bullshit from geekgab/thediscfather. We all know it’s coming so he takes some fan art or art from some t shirt company and slaps a date on it to make people think he’s an insider.

Love Michael Myers up to The Curse of, but Halloween III SOTW, without MM has always been my favorite.

I cringe every time someone cites them as a "source". They probably already have another name change in mind

He's a big fan, so I expect the film to be faithful and a geekin' out moment for him.

That's what I was saying in the last line. He'll come back by and claim he "told us so" as soon as the releases are announced.

Right... and Depp was a big Dark Shadows fan. How did that film work out?

Really concern if the deleted scenes and TV footage aren't included with the Child's Play sequels. Those were the main things I wanted from a CE release.

Exactly. With this recent trend of standard definition transfers of the TV versions of films being included as bonus features, this would’ve been a no-brainer. I guarantee more fans saw those edited versions of the films than they did unedited.
