$7 a month for Prime membership is pocket change, and even just placing one or two orders a month will pay for itself.

I don't think anybody is disputing that. It's less than $5 per month if you pay annually.

My argument is why chase loopholes and cancel items when you can easily get to the threshold with Prime? I don't get it.

What threshold with Prime? If you were a member yourself then you should know that since February there has been no Prime threshold for items old from Amazon US or UK via AU for free delivery. The scheduled expiry for that is currently the 26th July. The free Prime threshold is normally $49.

I was referring to the current free international delivery for orders over $49 for people without Prime as a part of the same promotion. http://www.amazon.com.au/b?node=10465487051

10% off Ultimate gift cards instore at Woolworths until Tuesday 21st (The Home, Kids, Teen work at JB). Don't confuse them with similarly named TCN brand gift cards.

There's still a threshold for non-prime, and the threshold is returning for Prime members on 26th July (as you say). Even with the threshold as it stood it was really easy to fill up a cart without adding something just to reach the limit.

Not so, I quite often had two items to buy that would come in just under the $49 so the $2 eraser (and cancel) trick was useful.

I also often had items from the UK and the US totaling $49 or more but now that would need to be $49 for the UK AND $49 for the US.

(excludes multi-season releases)

There is also 30% off Panasnoic players until 30th June. I believe they usually go 30% off 3 times a year (boxing day, mid year and black friday sales)

I'm using my Xbox One X as my 4K player... Would there be much of an improvement to swap to a good Panasonic 4K player?

As someone who has done exactly that - definitely. Everything also loads a lot quicker too, the Xbox Blu-ray app is terrible.

I was going to ask which one you went with, but then noticed your signature kind of answered my question.

I might see if I can grab one if they're on sale Black Friday... Since I'm spending no money until I can find a rental!

They must think we are muppets lol.

They are not only useless these days on packaging but prices they are trying on us is a joke.
Some items I can buy way cheaper from Amazon uk and do a conversion and there prices are still crazy high offered to us

I was going to post this but even worse than the 20% it’s 7% off usa titles.
And lol don’t get they want to to buy two items to qualify, all good if your planning to buy certain ones but as you say you need to check previous prices.

Bought 7 arrow blu-rays as part of this sale from zavvi.com and after utilising a 15% off voucher, they came in at approx. $13, including postage!

The Night Stalker series Blu-ray set is currently $49.99 (USD) on Amazon.com.
Would love to know how the Aussie Amazon came up with this price below!
Currently $131.30 (AUD)
