Disney is basically hegemonic and while there are many Star Wars nerds who would buy discs, they’re outnumbered by casual viewers who passively absorb whatever’s new on Disney+ and are just crazy about cute baby Yoda. Besides, it wouldn’t be Star Wars if it wasn’t somehow obscured or withheld from physical home video.
