Thanks! Been keeping an eye on this one for a while now but hadn't checked on it in a while either as it seemed to stay around the 25$ mark. Says 1 one more left in stock but no delivery date listed. Oh well, it's not like I need it right away.

I was shocked when I saw it so cheap on the deals section at the top of the page. I had to check to make sure I hadn't forgotten to switch the country setting back to Canada. I haven't seen this movie since I was a kid, and I had no plans on buying it, but at 11.99$ for a VS release I figured why not? They must have sold out before I noticed it, though, because it says "Usually ships within 1 to 2 months" and my estimated delivery date is between July 15th and August 19th.

I also wasn't really interested in this one but for $11.99 I had to grab it since at that price I can afford to take a flyer on a high quality VS release of a movie that I seem to recall not liking very much. I must have bought it when it was still in stock since it's scheduled to show up next Tuesday. Honestly not sure how it can be sold at this price but I ain't complainin'!

That's why I thought I must have forgotten to change the country setting back to Canada after I added my VS Halfway sales order titles to my collection yesterday. 11.99$ Canadian for a VS release is insane! Even used you'd pay more than that. It didn't say that it was out of stock when I placed my order but the deal is no longer showing up and if you look up the item page it says that it's now temporarily out of stock. I guess I'm just on a waiting list.

Returns/exchanges are so annoying now that Canada Post is no longer an option. Have to exchange The Day of the Beast 4K because the 4K disc was loose and is scratched and the only options is Intelcom and Purolator. Intelcom is so inept that I won't trust them with a return and Purolator is way less convenient compared to CP. Plus on the return instructions is says a box is required to return with Purolator when Amazon did not even ship it in a box in the first place.

I agree re: Intelcom. I shudder anytime I see that name assigned to my deliveries. Given the choice, I would go with Purolator. I believe they are owned by Canada Post.

Oh boy, I mentioned my woes over in the shipping thread, but are they seriously making customers go through Purolator and now we have to buy shipping boxes? Are they charging you for the return shipping too? Or is it free for your defective merchandise?

Still free if the item is defective. For the Purolator option it says "Purolator Drop Off - Label/Box required".

Good to know, but that sucks for me. I don’t own a car atm and the CP drop off was just down the street. The Purolator drop off location is in another town over.

Going to rethink my Amazon purchases from now on.

I had to return a movie some months back because of a broken case and I was surprised to see that Canada Post was not an option. I didn't have Intelcom as an option, though. I had Purolator and UPS. Thankfully, there's a UPS store close to my sister's place and one down the street from my work, so I have options.

Yeah I now buy my movies through Best Buy. Prices are usually similar and they make returns easy. The hell with Amazon.
