Nuts, I got excited about Suspiria when scrolling through again before quickly being disappointed with it being Unavailable. I have a feeling that was literally 1 copy someone returned.

Received a DVD of After We Collided in its stead, despite slip correctly listing Protégé 4K. Second time in a row this has happened - last time I received an oldies.com DVD of Birth of a Nation. I played my copy to see if it was Widescreen so I could delete the TCM recording off of my DVR. I've got a lot of old stuff on my DVR from TCM Underground where they played movies that have never been physically released or are OOP. I haven't figured out how to record stuff off of it like it could with my prior DVR. They played Gleaming The Cube on 7/5/21.

A good chunk of those Canadian VVS releases (like BODY BROKERS, COMEBACK TRAIL, DEMONIC, etc) have dropped from $11 down to $3.99.

They're Canadian releases, so yes on the French, no on the ratings. It would've taken all of 30 seconds to click on the original link and look.

When someone mentioned Sleepless in Seattle import, I noticed all the $3.99 Canadian releases in the blowout bin. I couldn't find review info on this site nor pictures of the back covers of most of them. Honest Thief is an exception. The Canadian has 5.1 TrueHD and US has 7.1 DTS-HD.

There are enough I want I should place an order before prices go back up or OOS. Many others I haven't seen, like Bouncer, Finding You, The 2nd, The Misfits and Jit Jitsu which has really bad reviews. I couldn't find The Bouncer on IMDB. I'll skip those for now.

Did I understand hiraeth's post that Drop Dead Fred UK import dropped to $6.26 briefly and then went back up to $13? I missed that and I've been checking the volatile blowout bin almost daily.

No, I think it was the Australia release for ~$11. I would have bought it if I didn't already own the VS.

I just got my order of many of the Imprint discs. The Face Behind the Mask arrived without shrink wrap and the disc has been replaced with a dvd of Superman tv show episodes. Great quality control.

I haven’t seen anyone mention this:

That's horrible. Especially considering (not to rub it in), in my opinion, that film is the best of all the Imprint films in the blow out bin


And yes, Anti-worlds is indeed part of the Indicator label. I think it's for their foreign films

Anyone ever get a second confirmation email from Deep Discount? I HAD to order some of those priced cut $3.99 Blu-rays. So I got a confirmation about an hour ago. Then I got a second confirmation email with all the lettering changed to be green colored. No idea why as that’s never happened with Deep Discount from me before. It was not a cancellation email or anything. Jus the exact same one in green. Weird.

Anyway, hopefully not too many more surprises from DD on my recent orders. Otherwise I’ll just have to enjoy my DVDs in place of Blu-rays and Superman TV episodes in place of boutique stuff

I haven’t had this happen, but they did send me two identical emails two days apart both canceling my Space 1999 set.

The Penny Slinger doc has a performance by Kim Gordon as an extra, if there are any fans here.
