I received mine in mint condition and with only 10 hours on the lamp. It's contrast and blacks are great, colors beautiful and is one of the few DLP projectors with an auto vertical shift, which allows you to adjust the projection up or down with the use of the remote. Before I purchased, I read various reviews and all were very positive. I am not using an anamorphic lens, but yes it has the capability to project an image which with a lens, can provide a 2.35:1 image (CIH Constant Image Height). In my room, it projects a 92" image at a throw distance of about 14.1' or 14.5'. I use a 92" Elite High Contrast Screen. I know many have purchased this projector and discuss it on the AVS forums. Hope this helps.

? What mount did you use for it? How high is your ceiling? Did you use a pole?
