They had a few PS2 games (Dragon Balls/Spyro) but someone either stole the games or someone brought them empty cases. Oh well, win some lose some !

- Bad Times at the El Royale
- The Old Man and the Gun
- The Book Club
- Glass
- On the Basis of Sex

Also got The Hobbit Trilogy sealed for $5 (it was supposed to be $9.99 but the clerk didn't check the back) and also the 70th anniversary edition of Citizen Kane (digibook).

For some reason, I keep finding 3D titles, which is great considering I have a 3D player and projector. But I don't usually see them.

Lately I have found sealed copies of Shrek 3D: The Complete Collection, Prometheus 3D, Rampage 3D, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes 3D, Epic 3D and Suicide Squad 3D.

Still have not spot a 4K yet...

Funny story. Last year I still had a copy of a sealed Dogma on my shelf that I picked up at Walmart years ago from their Boxing Week blowout $5 movies.

I flipped it on Ebay for $70 US since that sucker is OOP and probably never see the light of day since the rights are owned by the Weinstein company.

I wanted to watch it again since I just got the new Jay and Silent Bob movie. Lo and behold. I walked into a used store today and bought a copy for $8. So it's back in my collection. LOL!

No posts on this one for almost six months and wondering if anyone has ventured into the Sally Ann or Value Village (or anywhere else) looking for treasures. I guess my best buy (no pun intended) came from a VV where I was able to nail this DVD still in shrink wrap for $2.99.



I'd never seen it before and I intended to find it one day, so a bonus as the price was give away and I have enjoyed the first half so far.

Beyond that, my favourite used dealer had a number of discs I was able to pick up, generally for under $5.00 each (WSS was still sealed!), and will be used mainly to replace DVD copies.



Not all "A" titles, but I'm happy.

I drove by a VV yesterday and noticed people lined up to get in. Not sure if it was just for opening - this was at about 8:30 am as I went in to work late, I usually go by at 7ish.
Edit: strange google says they don't open until 11, maybe it was the day before when I was out & about that I noticed the line up

I have been going to Value Village frequently. Always hit or miss. It can be a bit challenging in this age of social distancing. Some people are respectful; others are not and will have no issue just reaching across your face to grab an item.

Have been lucky in finding several 3D titles (often still sealed).

I have actually been quite lucky in finding lots of Disney titles. More so than usual. I wonder if it's an effect of Disney+ and people are ditching their Disney titles (just my guess). But I've found sealed copies of Inside Out 3D, Sleeping Beauty, and Finding Nemo. and before the pandemic, sealed copies of Dumbo, The Lion King, and Secret of the Wings 3D.

Found Trolls World Tour 4K, good condition (digital code had been taken).

Was surprised to find a sealed copy of the 4K version of The Fate of the Furious. Also, some Marvel titles - Spiderman: Far From Home and Iron Man 3 (both sealed) and a mint copy of Avengers: Age of Ultron 3D.

Some Value Villages in Toronto have been increasing their prices. I found Minari sealed with slip for $7.99. Generally they go for $5.99 in most Value Village stores but this store has raised the price by two dollars.
