Ahhhhh, go for it. Those are the ones at Monoprice for $2.24 a pair!

Meh, you get the hang of it after you puncture yourself a few times.

Talk about blood, sweat and tears going into your home theater. Here's your chance, buddy!

NICE! Well, I'm sorry you'll miss the excitement of self-mutilation on those. Thank goodness you only have to do them once!

Thats a lot of cables craz - I'm watching Ghostbusters now and a quote comes to mind: (modified)

"Don't cross the connections!"

I'm using the monoprice ones too, but I wonder if the whole "curling over" type of connection allows for all the strands of wires to connect securely. I had to re-curl several times until I could no longer feel the cable move in the plug when I would pull on it. Since the best connection is the one with the most wires connected securely, I had to really play with it before I had peace of mind. I think I would prefer having to screw-in to secure, even if I bleed all over the place

After inserting my wires into the clips I fanned all of the smaller strands all around the edge and screwed the cap on tight. But even if I didn't, as long as there is solid contact between the strands and the banana plug there shouldn't be any loss of signal.
