I can’t recall exactly how fast it was, but I ordered The Godfather set from them and don’t RECALL any massive delays. OTOH, I also wasn’t desperate to get the set ASAP, either. But I don’t think it was anything crazy for sure. Only thing I have to go by is that the charge for it came out the day after street date, so I know they must have sent it either on that date or shortly thereafter. If it took more than a few days to get to me, I’m sure I’d have made a mental note of it.

I pre-ordered Halloween since it's a single item that was eligible for the code. I'm hesitant to pre-order anything else (like the Star Trek TCA set), they have the same storefront as Deep Discount and I don't trust them for limited stuff like that.

Another good deal is the Paranormal Activity set ($57) but you'd need to find something else at $43 to get the coupon to work.

Eh. Going by four titles I put in my cart at DD and applying a theoretical 15% off coupon the difference was only $2 and change. MU's prices are a little too jacked.

Not for me with what I posted above.

Order 1
DD w/15% off - $98.96
MU - $78.58

Order 2
DD w/15% off - $98.94
MU - $77.35

Order 3
DD w/15% off - $97.79
MU - $76.53

That's a savings of $63.23 across all 3 of my orders. Of course, YMMHV, as always.

Having an issue placing an order with credit/debit. I put in my info and it downstairs show a complete order button anywhere.

Yeah some of the stuff I was looking at is a lot more than where I can get it elsewhere, and putting 5-6 titles in and saving $30 it's still more money then other places. The Halloween set though, yeah pre-ordered that at least!

Oh definitely. The four I looked at, recent Shout titles, are the lowest I've seen them in a while on DD. MU is about $4-$5 more on each one.

I'm in the same boat with Star Trek V and VI. Usually you get a chance to cancel before shipment but if not, just return them.

Thanks for pointing out the Star Trek collection. Never ordered from them before, but that's really tempting. $80 isn't even funny for the Halloween 3 film set though, not for my money, and I actually really enjoy all three films. I'll be shocked if it doesn't go a good deal lower, maybe not this year, but I'm still holding out for a proper 8-film set unless the prices are too good on the individual releases and this set to pass up, as unlikely as the later prospect may be coming from Shout.

I wonder if the code is multi-use.
