Relatively speaking I've turned down my subwoofer quite a bit, but I still want a little bit of a boom to lead into the rumble.

Luckily I haven't watched that one in 3D yet. Aquaman is another one I haven't watched in 3D yet but on test, it has so much sub 30hz LFE. I literally had to turn down the TR otherwise they wouldn't stop shaking. I think I'm going to set that movie config to below 25Hz.
This reminds me of when I started rewatching movies in Atmos, then in HDR. Each time is a new viewing experience and now here we go again . This is the final bit of my HT puzzle (I hope please God).

It was a promotion i got on FnacPT... they had one only copy of 1994 The Lion King 3D and 2019 steelbook of The Lion King 3D and i wasn't willing to lose the chance of buy the cartoon version, which i thought i would never be able to find it in portuguese edition. Didn't save much but it was good enough for me.

Watching Rampage 3D on blu ray 3D on a 100" projector. Very nice layers of medium to sometimes high medium 3D so far. It holds up well to my first viewing in theaters when it released in 3D.

I watched Thor: Ragnarok a few days ago. I think it's my favorite Thor movie. The 3D is really nice and there's plenty of "wow" sequences throughout the film that are visually appealing. It has the IMAX version with shifting ratios. Looks great!

Just watched Static.

I really enjoyed this film. It was clever, chilling, held interest and had a very good storyline ending.

My observation about the 3D was that it was indeed satisfying. It's overall darkness did not diminish depth quality though it obviously created ghosts and shimmering in the unfocused backgrounds . But that is something one can live with.

Overall a pleasant surprise and very much recommended if one does not mind the the artifacts mentioned above.

Finally found a rare copy of Norway's first 3D film - Magic Silver 2 the hunt for the magic horn - which includes English subtitles.

I purchased the last copy from a site in Norway where the cost with international shipping came out to $30.66 ( 299 swedish krona). This is the site should anyone want to check to see if they get more in stock:

Watched Lion King ( animated) typical Disney lite 3D, but the movie is very good. Tomorrow live version shows up should be interesting comparison.
