DetroitSportsFan, how much do you spend on shipping? Is it a lot more? Thanks!

Shipping isn't bad - I think it's like 2.99 per order, plus 99 cents per disc through amazon.uk.

I just tested shipping for one Blu-Ray, and air shipping (6-10 days) was approximately $5.04. The more you buy, the cheaper shipping (per disc) gets.

Amazon.uk has a Buy 2 Get 1 Free sale going on. Some titles from this list I know are region free and are worth buying are:

The Thing (has many extras not included on the U.S. release)
The Goonies (not available in the U.S)
Face/Off (better picture/sound than U.S. version)
Almost Famous (not available in the U.S)

is the UK version Region B? Universal's UK release of Mongol is Region B, despite not saying it anywhere on the sleeve, at least not that I can see.

Yes, the UK is region B, but there are many region free and multi-region BDs released there.

even with the cheaper shipping option from amazon.uk i normally get my orders within in a week shipping from the uk to Aus so i imagine the turn around would be the same or even quicker to the states.
