Why? They're identical.

The reason why Apollo 13 was released with both is because they had to make the film shorter (due to the older bulbs IMAX was using then), and I believe they adjusted the aspect ratio for the IMAX screen to fit more of the screen (most likely using the super 35 that it was filmed with).

But, in the case of Star Trek, they were identical, and if the aspect ratio was different, it would have been due to cropping (seeing as it was shot anamorphically and not super 35).
