I'm not sure it was ever shown in the US, either. But I did catch up with it on blu-ray.... delightful show

Ya I know - in your opinion it'll be an abortion. I'll withhold opinion until I see it - and then in all likelihood shit all over it. But maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised.

It’s a legitimate question. Why is there a 60th Anniversary when the first Doctor is no longer the first Doctor? The original show began in 1963 but ended in 1989. This version began in 2005 and completely denigrated the original. It’s in own thing but I guess it needs the original to fall back on. Since the ratings are so low and merch no longer sells.
