"INCLUDES 5 DISCS. BONUS DISC NOT SHOWN."

I guess they are going to paper sleeve it and toss it in the box to rattle around?

What makes you think they will even bother with a paper sleeve?

I've actually lost track now. What's the "bonus disc not shown"? Is that the extras disc?

Isn't it strange how so far only US and UK are the only countries with a 6-movie boxset?

I'll definitely be getting one of these, possibly UK, it may be the best fit, if they do reuse the older discs which all have Spanish.

Don't ask me to confirm when it comes out though, because due to the price, I won't be getting it for a while, even if I want it.

And once again they're saying that the Blu-ray of Star Trek 6 does not contain the directors cut.
I cobbled the info from several sources, the UK box art and the Amazon.co.uk listing. Hopefully it's accurate!

It's weird that we haven't had an official press release for the set and the TMP Deluxe release.

Guys, I have to decided to boycott Amazon for physical media because everything arrives damaged. Subsequently I cancelled my preorder. I noticed Walmart has it for the same price. Anyone order physical media from Walmart? Do they ship with bubble wrap in a proper box?

Walmart is variable.

The gorillas at UPS don't discriminate in my experience. They mangle and mutilate packages from any and everyone.

If you want Amazon to ship something in a box, you have to pay $5 extra for gift wrapping. Even then it only offers minimal protection from the apes in need of anger management at UPS. But, hey, the gift bag is reusable.

I recently ordered a 6 pack of oil from Walmart and it was shipped via FedEx and arrived in a beautiful sturdy box with packing material. I wonder if I would have that kind of luck with this set? LoL

Well, they can't risk having motor oil leak everywhere, can they?

Basically, the less valuable, or less collectible, the product the better it will be packaged for, and the more likely it will survive, shipment.

Newegg shipped this in a nice box. This is how UPS delivered it.

The box only contained a $400 computer motherboard, nothing special.

The idiots at amazon would ship lightbulbs in a bubble mailer if they would fit. I have only ordered things from walmart for store pick up but they have always been well packaged.
