This is the first time I have the Universal Classic monsters 4k on sale at amazon.ca, I will probably be buying that and Hitchcock vol.1.

When B&N has a Criterion sale, they restrict shipments to Canada. I attempted before and it wouldn't let me check out.

Maybe you have a US address to receive products. That would be very helpful.

I assumed Alull was referring to the November sale in general, as amz.com will price match B&N. A number of Canadians will go for amazon.com's over buying it on amazon.ca, since even with import fees and shipping it works out to be better than the .ca price - as usually the .ca price is that value pre-HST.

I actually got Criterions from B&N and amazon.com this past July. (Worked out cheaper than UV, especially with 4Ks.)

Oh hell! I lied ! I thought I'd ordered from them. I might have tried until final checkout and that seemed to go fine but I went with amazon.com anyway for the convenience? I'm sorry, I led you astray.

But it was definitely cheaper through Amazon than anything in Canada.

A couple of years ago I got some Criterion titles from B&N, but they were already blocking Arrow titles back then. Didn't even bother checking the past few times as I heard they weren't allowing shipping to Canada at all.

Despite the packaging issues, ordering from Amazon.com is much less of a hassle. And with the import fees deposit, you don't have to worry about customs later.
