So I think you will find more people like myself belatedly coming around to appreciate Snyder's trilogy.

The Man of Steel trilogy is completely different to the Avengers trilogy. But I hold both of them in high regard partly because they are completely different, yet achieve their goals in their own unique ways.
I even thought Affleck did a good job as Batman!

Hi Okie

Believe it or not, I'm starting to watch many a flat disc or ball game simulated in 3D. Some can be truly amazing considering just upconverted.

Glad my six pairs of active glasses are rechargeable. The two that came with the Sony uses replacement batteries but aren't as good as the universal ones I got through eBay.

Calling me out for answering your question? OK I'm sure that made total sense in your head but not so much when you wrote it down lol.

What's funny is that I had nothing to get over before but then I did because of the dismissive reply. Anyway it's silly so gonna end it here.

Just watched Anadolu Atesi - Fire of Anatolia.

Fans of dance should enjoy this mixture of traditional and modern Turkish ballet.

Regarding the 3D, my observation is it being a mixed bag. Overall enjoyable with some outstanding moments. But there are times where the 3D is either mild or almost flat. It depends on the camera location and distance from the stage. So at times the 3D makes one feel he or she is at the performance while at others not so much.

Some sellers indicate it's Region B but the copy I got (with same bar code) played using region A. There is no region code appearing on the slipcase or disc.

Still, recommended if the fan of 3D is also an afficiando of international performing arts.

Now I just finished watching Olsen Gang on the Bone Floor (aka The Olsen Gang Gets Polished), a 2010 animated film from Denmark. It was funny with a few really great bellylaughs. Geared more for an older audience than little children due to language and satire.

The 3D was also very good. Nice use of depth and placement. Compared it to the 2D version and it definitely lost something in the process being flat.

Glad I finally got it and recommended. In Danish with English subtitles. Region B.

Today watched Happy Fish Two (aka The Reef 2) a joint South Korean USA animated venture from 2012.

Excellent 3D with nice layering, depth and color saturation which made this nice but otherwise so-so entry worth watching.

Recommended. From Germany with English audio. Region B.

Yeah, back then i lost the chance to buy it due to not being an interested buyer of movies besides DCEU and MCU and some animated features that i already owned and then the no more 3D TVs happened and then these movies started to be OOS before i could buy them. The one i really wanted to buy was Jurassic Park in 3D, the portuguese edition, but it was sold out before i could even blink to buy it.

I also was pretty selective of the 3D titles I bought. Then the TV manufacturers stopped supporting 3D. A strange thing came over me. I started buying everything I could. With 3D at home on the ropes, I feel like if I don't get the latest obscure title now, I'll never get it. Spending money on documentaries, non-English friendly movies, adult movies, horror movies, lame animation, etc.. and other titles I never would have bought, just because it's 3D. (Well, maybe I would have still got the porn -- generally avoid auto conversions though).

I'm like that guy in Soviet times, who sees a crowd at a store, and gets in line. He doesn't know what's being sold; he just wants to not miss out.

It’s like toilet paper, if they say their running short you buy three (cases). or in Joe’s case toilet paper, Kleenex, paper towels and baby wipes from China with only non- English instructions.

Well the last 3D Blu ray I watched was Penguins of Madagascar, wife and I both watched it upon release way back and it’s sat on the shelf ever since, I remember we didn’t think much of the movie itself.
Bizarrely this time around neither of us remembered it at all , I even checked the case to see I had put the correct disc in , this time we enjoyed it and the 3D was pretty decent to being a Dreamworks production. Well worth a Watch if you haven’t in a while especially after the Madagascar trilogy.

A few days ago I found very cheap copies of Yogi Bear and Turtles Tail so I thought why not? The answer is that Turtles Tail is scratched and won't play lol so I've only got Yogi. In the very first minute of the movie there are already the kind of pop-outs that phase 4 MCU movies comes nowhere near to meeting. Maybe it's the 3D but the movie looks like fun
