My Amazon order for The Complete Adventure was also delayed with an estimate of the 14th, having preordered in July. Saw yesterday that Best Buy had dropped their price and this morning my store had a couple in stock for pickup. Gave Amazon a few more hours on the off chance it would still ship, but by Best Buy's opening time there still wasn't any updates or charges, so I ordered for pick up and cancelled Amazon. Picked it up over lunch.

My individuals of 2-6 we're delivered from Best Buy on Sunday.

Movies Unlimited shipped my copy. Hoping to also get shipping notifications for the individual titles (also ordered from MU). I'm not a huge Trek fan but I do enjoy the films and am excited for these new 4Ks

Amazon shipped mine on time, but said there was a delay in driving it out this morning, so I went to BB and grabbed one, and canceled my Amazon order.

I got fed up with waiting on word from Amazon for TCA, though, and as it so happened this morning I was near a Best Buy. Went in and saw an employee stocking the new releases--he had about 6 or 8 copies of TCA on his cart. I asked for one and he gladly gave me one, also said "thanks for supporting physical media," which felt nice, too.

So now I'm in the clear for TCA, at least. Hope Amazon ships the other asap...

The 12 Best Buys within 150 miles of me have now been open for 4 to 5 hours, and out of the 23 copies they had in stock this morning two stores sold one copy each, so 21 remaining. I visited the one closest to me a short time ago and they did indeed have 2 copies in stock. At the asking price for what's included, I really don't think they're going to go all that quickly.

I considered getting the Complete Adventure at Best Buy, but I just couldn't justify an extra $58 for one extra disc and a bunch of trinkets in a flimsy box. Instead I found a copy of the regular 4K set at Vintage Stock, at the same price as Amazon ($2 less than Best Buy online). I didn't find any of today's Star Trek releases anywhere else locally (Target and Walmart). I did pick up V and VI at Best Buy, which were each $2 less than Vintage Stock.

Meanwhile, my Bull Moose order (Complete Adventures and individual releases of 2-6) has arrived!! Mostly intact, bubble wrapped inside a box. Slight creasing along the top of the Complete Adventures outer case , and slight creasing on the front of TSFS slipcover (in the black border, not into the center picture area ). Annoying, but not bad enough for me to pursue replacement. I would say it's more a fault of the flimsy disc packaging and not Bull Moose's re-boxing. I would consider ordering from them in the future if concerned about "Collectors Item" packaging.

Now, to decide what to do about my Amazon order for the Complete Adventures set, which hasn't shipped yet; supposed to arrive Sept. 19th! WTH?!? I'm inclined to cancel, because my logical half says "this set isn't worth owning two copies at $90-$100 each," but there is that annoying crease....and Amazon is usually pretty good about returning things. If it shows up in good shape, and if it seems like it really is going to be scarce...I could keep it sealed and live with the creased one.

I shall think about it some more.

So my order from Amazon of Motion Picture, V and VI arrived with 2 copies of V and no Motion Picture blu-rays. What's different is one of the copies of V has a new barcode NewItem label sticker on the back that is for Motion Picture. So, hopefully my replacement doesn't come from the same batch and others also do not have the new label on them.

Does the actual blu-ray for Motion Picture come with a new barcode label on them? or something odd in the Florida warehouse?

Hello there, my fellow Trekkers! My Amazon orders for Star Trek - The Motion Picture Director's Edition 4K UHD and Star Trek VI - The Undiscovered Country 4K UHD have just arrived here at The Kitty Cat Condo™. As you can see in the photos below, both of my cats are most enthused about this momentous occasion. Even though Chico prefers Star Trek - The Next Generation (as evidenced here), he was quite happy that I purchased Star Trek VI on 4K UHD since it features Michael Dorn (Worf is Chico's favorite TNG character). Harpo was most proud to be pictured beside Star Trek - TMP DE 4K UHD because he's an old school Star Trek fan (as evidenced here).

The new (2022) bonus disc has 3 clearly labeled deleted scenes sections that have every bit of footage(that is not already part of the DE.)

Therefore DE + 2022 New Bonus Disc = all footage there is.*

* The SLV has Kirk's spacewalk (in the wrong suit) with new FX to cover the exposed soundstage.
