Need to be daring and include Triplets of Belleville. Come on Sony, a lil animation never hurt!

There are certainly a lot of movies to choose from.

"Layer Cake" seems like a safe bet to me. "Elle", as well as the films by Pedro Almodovar, Asghar Farhadi, and Woody Allen are deserving of releases.

Sony Pictures Classics has always been one of my favorite big studio offshoots. So many great films on the label. Hopefully a wonderful assortment in this set and potential for future volumes as well.

Black Book and Elle would be candidates? Those would be by far my most wanted titles mentioned here.

I’d take City of Lost Children too. Fog of War is good too. There’s a bunch of other good and decent ones but few that would make my lists of most wanted to be honest.

That list includes some titles that Sony does not currently have home video rights for. (Afterglow, Henry Fool, Living in Oblivion, etc.)

Guessing this'll be a North American exclusive because it would be very hard for Sony to compile a set they could release in all territories. The rights to a lot of these titles are spread all over the place, in the UK at least - The Almodovar's (Studio Canal/Pathe), The Lives of Others (Lionsgate), Blue Jasmine (Warner Bros), Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada (Studio Canal) etc etc etc. The list goes on and on. Not too many are actually distributed by Sony outside the US.

Totally don't care though. This'll be an instant import if it includes any of the titles I mentioned

I will cry rivers of blood if Call Me By Your Name is held ransom by some uber-expensive box set.

I’d kill for Welcome to the Dollhouse / Opposite of Sex and The Passenger in 4K

But I have a feeling those would be the last ones they would consider.

I was going to say they might actually prioritize titles to which they own the rights to in EU as well, but looking at the list of Sony Classics they'd have a really hard time scraping together 10 of them that they own in the UK, let alone the rest of EU.

Sony’s 4k are some of the best. I’m looking forward to what the titles are. I just hope it isn’t 5 4k, 5 blu’s and a bonus disc for extras. That would suck

Pre-order now. There’s bound to be a price decrease. You can always cancel if the set is not to your liking. Amazon only charges on shipment.

Consume! Doesn't matter what movies they are, if you even want them. Just consume!
