A lot of the times in AC games, you’re moving fast whether it be running across rooftops, climbing buildings, escaping pursuers and so forth so why would you want to have separate inputs for these moves. Doesn’t make sense to do so. Traversal in the last three AC games are much better than the earlier ones. Glad they’re implementing the “climb anywhere” mechanic into Mirage. Pretty dumb when you have to run around a building looking for that one ledge that you can grab onto, passing ten other ledges that look exactly the same in doing so.
