Seen some reviews and the Ikea turntable is junk. The cartridge is the only good thing about it, the platter is a flimsy, wobbly piece of plastic and the entire body is plastic, not MDF. Reviewers have said sound is OK but the counterweight isn't adjustable and there's motor noise. Ikea is normally very good at offering value for money but this is really an item of Swedish House Mafia memorabilia. If you're tempted by the price you can get far better turntables for another £50-100
